Before I founded Jignite, I worked for several Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries, higher education, and government institutions. Companies like EY, ING bank, Atos and Johnson Controls were part of this experience. There, I was able to learn and apply my knowledge.

I am a senior professional with over 36 years of experience in Leadership, Learning, and Development. A lifelong learning mindset applies to me. I hold an MSc in learning technology from the University of Sheffield (UK) and an MBA (with distinction) from Maastricht School of Management. Further, I completed a bachelor’s in educational design from the University of Nijmegen on Learning and Development. Finally, I hold a Business Development & Leadership Diploma from Rotterdam School of Management.
I am Prosci® certified (change management methodology), Social Styles® certified and an internationally accredited trainer/facilitator (IBCT).
My career has brought me to many countries. I was fortunate to travel the world and design and deliver programs in many countries. The picture on the right shows a selection of countries that I visited. As you can see, I have been in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and the USA the most. As a result of this travel, I gained substantial international experience.
Travelling allows one to experience, learn and become aware of different cultures. Cultural awareness is essential when delivering programs abroad as you want delegates to feel welcome and understood in order to focus on the purpose of the program in order to create a meaningful learning experience. In particular, mutual respect and understanding is an essential capability for international consultants.
